Acrylic and sand, and beach grit on framed stretched canvas
While scuba diving in Nova Scotia, we often come across flounders. These fish are so good at camouflaging that you only noticed them just as you're above them or as you're swimming away.
This painting was an experiment in using the rougher sand that's in the water just before the beach.
